Dr. Carissma Hughes Valentine, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S) in Texas & Licensed Independent Social Worker-CP in South Carolina, serves as the Owner and Director of Clinical Services at Obsidian Counseling Services, PLLC. She holds specialized certifications in Depression & Mood Disorder Treatment, ADHD Specialty provider and Clinical Trauma (CCTP-II).

With experience spanning diverse groups including the LGBTQ community, Military Veterans, and hospice care, Dr. Hughes takes a person-centered therapeutic approach. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and complex trauma.
